RENT Resources
News and resources are collected from over 50 resources including daily newspapers, government agencies and departments, non-profit organizations and coalitions and other sector sources. Housing workers have been working together to create this resource library by suggesting resources that they have found helpful in their daily work with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The resources here are intended to develop housing workers’ knowledge of housing issues, income support systems and opportunities, and referral sources for the myriad of other services required by the people with whom they work.
Key resources include RENT Videos (taped RENT workshops) and “Tips” (pieces of information/knowledge that has been learned from experience) that are provided by housing workers on a number of issues.
Suggesting a resource for this e-library is a contribution to building the capacity of the housing help sector in its collective effort to reduce homelessness and serve people more effectively.
